The main task of the perimeter protection function is to detect the intruder in the event of exceeding a specific line or entering the protected area. The Deep Learning camera is able to distinguish objects that violate the controlled area, e.g. a tree from a car or a man from an animal. In addition, the device sends an alarm when the undesirable event is detected.
Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD+)
Thanks to the intelligent algorithm, Dahua Smart Motion Detection technology can determine and categorize the goals that trigger traffic detection and filter side objects. In this way, the amount of false alarms is reduced to a minimum.
Memory card slot
The camera also has a microSD card socket with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. The card is used as a spare memorial site that can be used to create local copies of recordings.
Cooperation with SSWiN
The camera has one input and one alarm output. These connectors enable the integration of the camera, for example, with emergency systems or automation devices.
3DNR - Noise reduction system

BLC - Backlight compensation
The function allows you to eliminate the resulting effect when the camera is directed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the first plan becomes dark and not legible. Compensation consists in brightening the first plan, unfortunately also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. Generally, the function improves image quality.
HLC - High light compensation
The algorithm detects image points that are strongly lit and then masks them enabling effective observation. HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground parking lots. It allows you to read the license plates numbers that are covered with "bright stains" from the headlights.
Smart lighting function
The intelligent lighting function allows you to change basic image parameters, such as exhibition, contrast or brightness. The signal processor analyzes the image on an ongoing basis and immediately after detecting the x -ray reduces the power of the infrared illuminator. Thus, the image becomes more pronounced and the x -rays disappear.
RoI - Region of Interest
The Region of Interest system allows you to increase the quality of the recorded image in fragments of the observed scene indicated by the user. Thanks to the Roi function, economic recording of recordings and saving the total video files with the original image quality in priority areas is real.
Privacy masks
Using the characteristics of the camera with the function of privacy zones, it is real to adapt the method of functioning of the observation system to the spatial specificity and safety requirements of a specific installation site. Thanks to the privacy mask system, it is possible to freely determine the image fragments that will be excluded from the video supervision.
Defog

EPEE technology one of the newer solutions available in Dahua Technology products. The innovative functionality allows you to connect and power the camera with an IP with a network cable or concentric cable. Dahua EPOE technology adopts advanced 2D-PAM3 coding modulation from the physical layer and transmits transmission in a full duplex over 800 meters at a speed of 10 Mb/s or 300 meters at a speed of 100 Mb/s via the Cat.5 or concentric cable. Dahua EPOE opens a new way of reaching long distances between IP cameras and network switches. It also provides a more flexible construction of the supervisory system, improves reliability and saves construction and cabling costs. EPOE technology only works with EPOE devices.
