Hikvision's DS-7608NI-I2 network recorder is a professional digital device designed to manage complex video surveillance systems. It uses the latest IP technology and has the ability to record video and audio from up to eight IP cameras with a maximum resolution of 4000×3000 (12Mpx) and an input stream of 80Mbps. It is equipped with two SATA interfaces that can accommodate two hard drives with an upper limit of 8TB. The advanced software of the recorder provides a number of functions useful in everyday life, and also improves the recording and playback process and increases security.

The modern network recorder has also been equipped with 2 USB ports (1 port in version 2.0 on the front panel + 1 port version 3.0 on the back).
