Additional interfaces used

Alarm inputs in the NVD0905DH-4I-4K decoder will allow you to connect four external devices, such as motion detectors or contacts. Each entrance can be configured for NO or NC contacts. A properly configured entrance can be used for the triggering of various actions on the decoder side, e.g. attaching one of the outputs. The video HDMI 4K DAHUA decoder also uses the RS485 interface (for connecting the keyboard), three RS232 interfaces (for controlling PTZ cameras), three USB ports and two gigabit RJ-45 LAN connectors (intended for communication).

Overlay function

From the point of view of the managing person, e.g. a monitoring system, a very useful function is the ability to simultaneously watch several scenes on one screen. The NVD0905DH-4I-4K decoder uses the Overlay function, thanks to which the user is able to simultaneously preview the image from several cameras on one monitor. In this arrangement, the image, e.g. from the first camera, is displayed in full size, while in a smaller, inner window it appears what is observed by another camera. The undoubted advantage of the Overlay option is that it makes it easier to observe the monitoring center and allows you to focus on a wider surveillance plan.

H.265+ codec support

H.265+ is a video recording coding system, which is an extension of the technology used in H.265 / HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding). A system based on an intelligent H.265+ compression algorithm created by Dahua can significantly reduce video bitrate. This means a radical reduction in the use of bandwidth, limiting the requirements for data space and improving image quality compared to H.264 - the codec can save up to 90% of the capacity.

Dahua's SmartPSS (Professional Surveillance System) application is a convenient software designed to work with analog digital recorders, network NVRs, IP megapixel cameras, IP video doorbells, SVR storage devices and other DAHUA devices that have a built-in network interface.
This application can handle up to 1000 connections and allows remote control of the recorder, enabling both real-time monitoring of camera images and modification of setting options.
In addition, SmartPSS is available in many languages, including Polish.
